Hi, I’m Andrew

I grew up in south-central Missouri, commonly known as the Ozarks, and spent my childhood getting lost in the woods with my siblings. I went to the University Missouri of Columbia and got my degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering. One unexpected weekend hiking trip to Colorado immediately sold me on the mountains I now call home, and my post-graduation life began with a move to Colorado. My work in supply chain and logistics took me to Kansas for a few years, but couldn’t keep me away for long. I’ve been a proud full-time Colorado resident since 2016 and spend my free time with my wife and dogs reading on the couch or exploring the mountains we love so much.

My wife and I moved to our first home together in Monument, Colorado in mid-2021 – finding our perfect neighborhood and house is a memory I’ll never forget. Since we’ve moved in, I’ve been struck by how a house serves as a cornerstone for a family for however long we are there. It’s where we grow, build community, and create lasting memories.

Since our move, my wife still catches me looking at houses and taking the long way home to explore different neighborhoods. But now it’s not for me. I felt the calling to become a Realtor so I can personally welcome new neighbors to the town I call home and help my current neighbors receive full value for the care they put into their home over the years. Whether you are buying or selling a home, it’s an honor to be involved in such a foundational element of your lives and is a task I don’t take lightly.

Okay, Random/Fun Questions Time!

Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? I backcountry snowboard and am avalanche and CPR certified – I am also currently looking towards getting my Wilderness First Responder certification. I have a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu. I love the discipline required in martial arts. Combination of mind and body – compete in competitions throughout the state.

What’s your favorite ’80s jam? Master of Puppets by Metallica

What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it? Home Town on HGTV. It’s basically a story about a couple that helps people buy and renovate properties in their hometown in rural Mississippi. I love the community focus, the home transformations, and watching the main couple partner so well together.

Your top 2 favorite Podcasts/Books? Extreme Ownership. This book highlights how important it is to own every aspect of your actions and is a model for how I serve my clients and my community. 7 habits of highly effective people. Classic I know, but Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw reminds me daily how intentional little actions over time create habits that allow me to show up as my best self
